Note: Serena has a very tiny waist so if your doll has a larger waistline simply change the second of the decreasing rows for the waist to/ (k1,p1) to the end of the row. Then when making up sew the back seam first before slip stitching the waist band in place. Leave an opening so you can thread some fine elastic into the waist band.
